With Valentine’s day just round the corner it’s got us thinking about all the lovely romantic things you can do when you come and stay with us at Woodview Campsite.
Aside from the obvious romance of snuggling up in a tent that’s made for two, there are loads of other reasons why a break on the Cornwall and Devon coast is the perfect place to take your loved one.
Star Gazing
What could be more romantic than grabbing a blanket and a bottle of wine (or flask of hot chocolate) and relaxing under our glittering skies. Having very low light pollution, we really do have stunning skyscapes at night, and our peaceful surroundings mean you’ll feel like the only 2 people in the world.
Campfires
If you want to make sure you stay warm, why not add a bit of heat to your romancing. Our firepits offer the ideal spot to toast marshmallows whilst you watch the stars. And set next to our private stream, the gentle tinkle of flowing water creates a calming background to relax into.
Food
If a BBQ on site isn’t your idea of romance, never fear! There are lots of restaurants and pubs within a short drive which will be happy to cook you up a storm of local ingredients. Or, grab that blanket again and get down the beach for a secluded picnic.
Walks
Sharing experiences is one of the best things about being a couple. Going on one of the many walks along our coast paths or across our moors, and being together amongst such stunning scenery, will surely build memories you will be able to share forever. The unrivalled rugged coastline, clear blue sea, and lush green moorland will refresh and invigorate you.
Glamping
If sleeping in a tent isn’t your idea of romance, don’t worry we’ve got you covered. Our cute wooden glamping huts mean you can enjoy all the romantic ideas above but with a comfy bed to fall into at the end of the day. Do book early though as they get booked up quickly!
We hope to welcome you to Woodview Campsite soon, whether that’s camping, glamping or caravanning. Do get in touch with any questions or for any advice about your stay.
